ZJ-222 Neutral Silicone Sealantis a one-part, medial modulus, neutral curing silicone sealant.

Characteristic

ZJ-222 product has an excellent adhesive ability to most construction materials without a primer.

It has Good features as follow:

a.Can be easily used and extruded any time.

b.Excellent contact change and extrusion ability, in any air Temperature( -40 to 100) can extrude easily.

c.Excellent adhesion to stone, ceramics, concrete, and other building materials. It has no pollution to porous materials.

d.Outstanding weatherproofing ability, resisting to ultraviolet ray, ozone.

e.Be compatible with all kinds of silicone structural sealant.

Where to use

ZJ-222 is fit for sealing all kinds of glass doors and windows; automotive, ship, packaging, advertisement and family decorations.

Use limitations

ZJ-222 is not fit for structural usage. It should NOT be applied in the following conditions:

a.To all materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, and green or partially sulfur zed gaskets or tapes, etc.

b.In totally confined space ( Silicone sealant need the water in the air to cure)

c.For continuous immersion in water or below-grade applications all the year.

d.To painted surfaces, may cause seal failure as the paint Cracking or paint stripping

e.To frost or wet surfaces f. Surface touch the food directly

g.Easily suffer mechanical wear

ZJ-222 is available in 300ml plastic cartridges, 24 cartridges/carton and 500ml aluminum sausage,20 sausages/carton

Storage and usable life

When stored under dry and airy, 27 or lower temperature conditions in the original unopened  container, ZJ-222 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

ZHIJIANG Silicone will evaluate tests about the adhesion of our products to job site or representative job site materials in standard laboratory. Results of the adhesion testing, product recommendations and surface preparation will be forwarded in writing.

Incompatibility of glazing materials can lead to sealant discoloration and/or loss of adhesion. To help protect against these problems and to ensure compatibility, ZHIJIANG will also test and provide information on the compatibility of accessory materials (gaskets, spacers, etc.) and other ZHIJIANG Silicone sealants.

Because of the staining problems that may occur with porous substrates, ZHIJIANG is willing to run laboratory tests and provide information to you on the possibility of staining occurring with the construction materials being used.

Weatherproofing joint design

Wider joints accommodate more movement than narrow joints. When ZJ-222 is being used for wide movement joint, a minimum depth of 6 mm and a maximum 12mm sealant/substrate bond is necessary to ensure adequate adhesion. A properly designed moving joint will have a 2:1 width to depth ratio.
