Description

ZJ-301-B is a one-part, solvent-free, 100% solid content, primary seal hot melt sealant based on high molecular weight polyisobutylene (BASF oppanol B15N) for insulating glass. It can keep good plastic and adhesive during a wide temperature.

Where to use

ZJ-301-B has lower water vapor transmission, better weatherproofing and strength. It gives better effective guarantee to produce high quality insulating glass. It is special for large plate insulating glass and insulating glass for curtain wall.

ZJ-301-B is mainly used for insulating glass together with ZJ-998 two-part polysulfide and ZJ-8000 two-part silicone structural sealant, or ZJ-997 two-part silicone sealant for insulating glass to finish two layer seal.

Application

Before application, clean and dry adhesion surface to get rid of dirty, oily things. ZJ-301-B is applied by special hot-melt butyl extrusion machine or automatic extrude machine. The environment temperature should not be lower than 10 ^oC in application. The extrusion condition could be satisfied through temperature and pressure adjustment, for example temperature could be adjusted over the range of 100^oC~130^oC. The temperature of the extrude mouth should be 1^oC~2^oC higher than the temperature in hot melt machine.

Packing

This product should be packed by paper container:

Packing1: 7kg/ barrel (diameter 190mm, height 300mm)

Packing2: 6kg/ barrel (diameter 180mm, height 260mm)

Packing3: 200KG/steel drum (diameter 5680mm)

Also we can supply it according to customer requires.

Storage:

Under dry and airy between -10^oC~35^oC, shelf life of 24 months

ZJ-301 is not dangerous products and could be transported by train, automobile, ship and airplane.

The relative parameter, especially the application hints, is proposed based on testing and experiments.
