Description

ZJ-1200 Silicone Structural Sealant is a one-partacetic, specifically designed for structural glazing and curtain wall adhesive construction applications. It easily extrudes in any weather and quickly cures at room temperature to form a high durable and flexible silicone rubber seal. ZJ-1200 Silicone Structural Sealant has an excellent adhesive to most of construction material without a primer.

It has good features as follow:

a. Can be easily used and extruded any time.

b. Acetic cure: To float glass, anodized aluminum material needn't base coating, has a strong felt power.

c. Excellent weather ability and stability.

d. High modulus, as cured, it can bear joint movement capability of ±25%.

Structural applications require prior testing and written print review by ZHIJIANG.

Where to use

ZHIJIANG ZJ-1200 Silicone Structural Sealant is designed for use in structural glazing applications such as; big board glass seal, glass glazing curtain walls sealing and joint.

Use limitations

ZJ-1200 silicone structural sealant should not be applied in the following conditions:

a. To all spaces that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents such as wood immersed in oil, oil crack filler, and some uncured or sulfurized fat, it should NOT be applied.

b. To the unventilated space (Silicone sealant need the water in the air to cure)

c. To the circumstances as immersed in water for a long time, underground all the year

d. To painted surfaces, may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or paint stripping

e. Frost or wet surfaces

f. Surface touch the food directly

g. Easily suffer mechanical clash

Material feature

ZJ-1200 Silicone Structural Sealant can keep good viscidity and can easily extrude between -25^oC to 50^oC; Can keep good flexibility between -50^oC to 150^oC after cured.

Storage and usable life

When stored at dry and airy, 27^oC or lower temperature conditions in the original unopened container, ZJ-1200 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Handling precautions

This paper doesn't include MSDS for product. It should be notified:

1. Not contact sealant with food or cosmetics;

2. Not contact skin for long time about uncured sealant;

3. Rinse eyes with large quantities of water and seek medical check if sealant drops into eyes.

4. Not put sealant at children's reach.
